Vision

In line with the vision of the faculty, the Department of Anatomy seeks to be a distinguished center in the field of clinical anatomy, and in the field of education and scientific research.

Department mission

The Department of Anatomy is one of the first departments established at the College. It receives students immediately after completing the health sciences program. It also receives a number of graduate students applying for special tests each year. The department relies on teaching the anatomy on faculty members with a high level of experience and qualifications. . The course aims at teaching students the general principles of anatomy of the human body in all its regions, as well as the teaching of tissue, embryos, bone and neuroscience. The section includes anatomical samples for the purpose of helping students understand the anatomy and the section contains audio and video equipment to help in this regard. The faculty members of the department perform many researches in the field of anatomy, and its various branches, such as the nerves and the brain using the normal and electronic microscope, and other research that are directly related to the development of knowledge in the field of anatomy and medicine
