Minia University recently held a dynamic training program titled 'Equality for the Disabled' in collaboration with the American Amideast Organization and the Dream Foundation for Training and Consultations. Under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Dr. Essam Farhat, the university president, this initiative unfolded within the vibrant activities of the university's Disability Services Center.
The event welcomed key figures including Dr. Hossam Abd El Rahim, the Executive Director of the Disability Center, Dr. Yousry, Deputy Director of the center, and Mr. Mohamed Ali, the coordinator of the disability program at Amideast.
Facilitated by experienced trainers Mahmoud Youssef and Ramiz Maher from the Dream Consultations Foundation, the training aimed to raise awareness about the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and advocate for their support within the wider community. Center coordinators from various faculties actively participated in enriching the dialogue.
