The Department of Chest Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine, Minia University, convened its weekly scientific meeting on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the lecture hall of the University Cardio-Thoracic Hospital.
The session featured a scientific lecture titled "Management of Parapneumonic Pleural Effusion," presented by Dr. Ayman Hussein, Assistant Lecturer of Chest Diseases. The lecture addressed current medical protocols and therapeutic strategies for managing this common pulmonary complication.
Following the main presentation, Dr. Dina Montaser, Resident Physician in the Chest Diseases Department, conducted a detailed clinical case presentation. The discussion allowed for an interactive review of diagnostic and treatment approaches in line with the lecture's topic.
